Now that I have begun my small collection of fountain pens, I would like to find some good paper for them. I usually like to use Crane stationery, but I have found that the weave is too coarse for fountain pen nibs: the nibs get caught. I have heard that people like to use use their fountain pens with Rhodia pads, but I haven't tried them yet. (And, I don't especially like to write on graph paper.) So, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Although I only have the experience of signing my name, I like using fountain pens on resume paper. It absorbs the ink nicely, but feels fairly smooth.
I realize that this factor could be varient on how quickly you write -- since I imagine that if you write more slowly, you'd want a paper that doesn't absorb as much, whereas if you write quickly, you'd want paper that absorbs a little bit so your writing looks a little heavier and not so scratchy.
Do you want stationery (Try G. Lalo Verge) or journals? (Try Rhodia, Clairefontaine - both of which are very fountain pen friendly) There are others- if you note more details about what you are looking for....
I know about Rhodia pads, so I guess I would like to know more about stationery. I will have to find some G. Lalo Verge paper, and give it a go!
